Rite Aid is Creative for a Cause

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” -Maya Angelou

Have you been to a Rite Aid in the Central Valley recently? If so, they have probably looked a little different than usual. While some stores may have small and large yellow balloons lining their registers, other stores have tables with raffles set up. This is all part of the Children’s Miracle Network campaign.

Jennifer is a Rite Aid associate at store #6006 in Merced,CA. She helped her store receive the 2018 Most Creative Store award because of her great ideas that she put into action. When asked why she puts in the extra time to be creative, she replied, “It’s fun! I find that people enjoy knowing that their balloon made something that made someone else smile. For example, like knowing a unicorn was made with a part of their donation is exciting. I always tell customers that I couldn’t make my fun creations without their generous donation.”

Jennifer is not the only Rite Aid associate to get creative for a cause! Some stores are putting on raffles, small fairs in the parking lot, asking local businesses to donate and much more. Getting creative puts the FUN in fundraising!
